Job summary

La Farm, Inc. in Cary, NC seeks a full-time culinary team member responsible for prep and line work, recipe reading, and delivering exceptional customer service. You will follow established recipes, maintain high quality, and support catering and daily order preparation.

This role requires weekend and holiday shifts with a fast-paced environment. Strong teamwork, attention to detail, and multi-lingual abilities are a plus. Health and bakery-related perks are included.

Qualifications

• Experience in culinary field, prep and/or line work required.
• Knowledge of weights, volume, and cooking procedures.
• High proficiency at reading recipes and build cards.
• High attention to detail.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Ability to solve business related problems quickly and efficiently.
• Great relationship building skills and demonstrated positive demeanor as a team player.
• Ability to work in fast paced environment and multitask.
• Flexibility required: Weekends required, holiday work required, two days off (not consecutive).
• Multi-lingual a plus.

Responsibilities

• Follow La Farm systems and recipes when building prep ingredients and orders.
• Prepare customer orders with accuracy and efficiency, and sign/label items.
• Create catering platters based on daily special orders and assist with opening/closing procedures.
• Maintain sanitation and safety to meet health standards.
• Assist runners with delivering food and communicate order status to team.
