Zusammenfassung

Books-A-Million is seeking a Café Lead to oversee daily café operations, train new baristas, and uphold quality and cleanliness standards across the café and related merchandise areas.

You will ensure consistent customer service, manage inventory and supply orders, and support store managers with training and development while promoting Company initiatives and maintaining cafe conditions.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Customer service experience required.
• Knowledgeable about café product and café machines, including blenders, ovens, espresso machines, and cash registers.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Successful completion of all background screenings.

Aufgaben

• Craft Joe Muggs Beverages according to our quality standards and ensure standards stay in place.
• Ensure daily use of the Café Communication Binder.
• Maintain Visual Merchandising guidelines for all Café related merchandise.
• Complete the Weekly Inventory Sheet and submit the final document to your District Manager.
• Based upon inventory findings, complete the café supply order.
• Assist Managers with the training and development of baristas.
• Motivate Baristas to achieve goals and improve customer service in the Café and Bookstore.
• Manage preventative maintenance tasks to ensure weekly completion.
• Promote all Company initiatives when interacting with customers.
• Provide the highest level of customer service to each customer.
• Maintain café conditions and a clean workplace (dusting, vacuuming, restrooms, general maintenance).
• Perform other duties as assigned.
