Books-A-Million is seeking a Café Lead in Abilene, TX to oversee café operations, train baristas, and ensure exceptional service. You will craft beverages, manage inventories, and drive performance while promoting company initiatives in a busy bookstore environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Customer service experience required.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Successful completion of all background screenings.

Responsibilities

• Craft Joe Muggs Beverages to quality standards and ensure consistency.
• Ensure daily use of the Cafe Communication Binder.
• Complete the weekly inventory and submit to District Manager.
• Order café supplies based on inventory findings.
• Assist Managers with training and development of baristas.
• Motivate baristas to hit target goals and improve customer service.
• Manage preventative maintenance tasks to ensure completion.
• Promote company initiatives when interacting with customers.
• Provide the highest level of customer service.
• Maintain cafe conditions per standards and keep a clean workplace.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
