Job summary

Jewish Community Center Dallas is seeking a Part-Time Kitchen Associate to prepare and cook pizzas, perform general food prep, and ensure high-quality meals meet standards. You will provide excellent customer service, manage food orders, and maintain a clean workspace. This is a part-time role with growth potential to full-time, requiring availability on Wednesdays and Sundays.

The position is non-exempt with no benefits, limited to 29 hours per week, in Dallas, TX. EOE.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years in food prep and cooking in a commercial kitchen or restaurant setting.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Willingness to work Wednesdays and Sundays.

Responsibilities

• Preps, cooks and fulfills orders.
• Support for catering events and catering pickup orders.
• Requires working on Wednesday’s and Sunday’s and occasional evenings when necessary.
• Adhere to standard operating procedures for food quality and food handling.

Salary Range: $16.00 To $20.00 Hourly

You will be responsible for preparing and cooking pizzas, general food prep, and ensuring high-quality food meets our standards. The role also involves providing excellent customer service, handling food orders, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

This is a part-time position with opportunity to grow into full-time. Wednesdays and Sundays are a must. This position is classified as part-time, non-exempt with no benefits. This position will not exceed 29 hours a week. The Jewish Community Center is an EOE (equal opportunity employer).

Essential Functions:

• Preps, cooks and fulfills orders

Experience and Education:
