Job summary

Bluestone Lane is seeking a Service Professional to set the tone in our café by delivering exceptional hospitality and guiding guests through the Bluestone Lane dining experience. You will educate guests about menu items, engage with guests, and promote rewards and loyalty with a friendly, personalized touch.

In this role you will be the host, server, and barista, upselling food and beverages and ensuring orders are placed accurately and promptly.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in a full-service restaurant.
• Passion for great service and guest happiness.
• Team player with collaborative mindset.
• Ability to work in a high-demand, fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
• DOH Accreditation and/or ServSafe certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with a smile and explain the Bluestone Lane dining experience.
• Educate guests about menu items and upsell rewards and loyalty.
• Upsell food and beverages and ensure timely beverage refills.
• Coordinate with back of house to place orders efficiently (12 minutes target).
• Maintain a clean, organized coffee bar and follow opening/closing procedures.
