Qualifications

• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Able to work various hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Cross-train in multiple cafes, including back-of-house operations.
• Possession of, or ability to obtain, ServSafe Certification.
• Mastery of espresso machinery, milk science, latte art, nitro systems, and POS operations.
• Previous experience with food preparation preferred.

Opportunity

The Cafe Coordinator provides supervisor support to Greenhouse through a variety of administrative and operational tasks. Manage all special guest requests, unique events and questions and ensure that all aspects are communicated to the appropriate leadership.

Specific Responsibilities

• Perform all duties as Barista or Barista II.
• Assist management with daily administrative tasks to include but not limited to the curation of SOP’s, documentation of sales, orders/requisitions, organization of FOH operations.
• Recruit new staff, assist with training new staff and assist in the retention of current staff.
• Collaborate with staff and management team to ensure proper cost controls, shrinks, and inventory levels.
• Manage and accurately account for inventory monthly.
• Understand the health benefits that fruits and vegetables provide.
• Coordinate with cafe staff to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
• Assist with food and beverage service per order.
• Ability to accurately curate a purchase order.
• Utilize all café SOP’s (and update when applicable) including opening and closing checklists consistently.
• Create and execute special projects and assignments to include but not limited to R&D of monthly drinks specials and monthly smoothie specials.
• Communicate effectively with other department managers within resort.
• Complete all tasks as assigned by leadership.

Skills/Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Availability to work various operational hours. This includes but is not limited to nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to cross-train in multiple cafes, to include back-of-house operations, such as juicing, to support the broader F&B team as needed to ensure a sustainable and efficient workflow.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in specialty coffee or luxury hospitality, with demonstrated leadership or supervisory aptitude.
• Strong interpersonal skills, time management, and attention to detail. Proven ability to train others, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and maintain poise in high pressure environments.
• Possession of, or ability to obtain, a ServSave Certification with the National Restaurant Association or equivalent.
• Mastery of espresso machinery, milk science, latte art, nitro systems, and POS operations.
• Previous experience with food preparation preferred.

The hourly range for this position is $16.60 - $24.90. The specific hourly rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including candidate's education and work location.
