Job summary

Kohler Waters Spa in Kohler, WI is seeking a part-time Cafe Attendant (Barista) to deliver attentive service in a serene, five-star spa environment. Join our world-class team and help guests relax, recharge, and indulge in a luxurious experience.

As a member of the spa food & beverage team, you will greet guests, take orders, prepare beverages and meals, and handle cash while maintaining a clean, organized workspace during shifts from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM CST.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older at time of application.
• Previous food service experience preferred but not required.
• Strong communication, time management, and attention to detail are essential.
• Ability to walk/stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet guests and accurately take food and beverage orders.
• Prepare and present beverages and meals per recipes and standards.
• Serve prepared items with care and attention to detail.
• Process purchases and handle cash/credit/debit transactions accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic work environment.
• Dismantle, clean, and reset work areas as needed.
• Monitor inventory, place orders, and stock supplies per guidelines.
• Complete opening and closing duties to ensure smooth daily operations.

What You’ll Do

As part of our spa food & beverage team, you’ll deliver attentive, seamless service that enhances every guest’s experience.

Responsibilities include:

• Warmly greeting guests and accurately taking food and beverage orders
  
• Preparing and presenting beverages and meals in accordance with established recipes and presentation standards
  
• Serving prepared food items with care and attention to detail
  
• Processing purchases and handling cash, credit, and debit transactions accurately
  
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and hygienic work environment
  
• Dismantling, cleaning, and resetting work areas as needed
  
• Monitoring inventory levels, placing orders, and stocking supplies according to storage guidelines
  
• Completing opening and closing responsibilities to ensure smooth daily operations

The hourly rate for this position is $15.00, plus tips/gratuity. The specific hourly rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including candidate's education and work location.
