Job summary

Station Casinos seeks a skilled Cook to directly support the kitchen leadership in a high-volume environment. You will assist in cooking, frying, sautéing, carving, broiling, grilling and steaming a variety of foods, while maintaining cleanliness and safe operation of all equipment.

Candidates should have 1–2 years of cook experience in a busy restaurant and be able to obtain work cards, with a strong attention to detail and safe handling procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one to two years Cook experience in a high volume restaurant preferred.
• Must be able to obtain all necessary work cards, demonstrate sound judgment and great attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Support Executive Chef, Assistant Executive Chef, Room Chef and Assistant Room Chef.
• Ensure kitchen and equipment are in good working order; maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards.
• Assist in cooking, frying, sautéing, carving, broiling, grilling, and steaming all meats, fish, eggs, vegetables, etc.
• Keep area clean and stock cold items; ensure area and equipment operate properly.
