Brandywine's Millstone Café is seeking a part-time server to provide exceptional guest service and support the executive chef and staff. You will greet guests, take orders, and offer menu recommendations while ensuring accuracy in the POS and communicating allergies to the kitchen.

The role requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 25 lbs, and flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays. We emphasize teamwork, reliability, and a welcoming dining experience.

Qualifications

• 2 years restaurant experience preferred.
• Able to stand for long periods.
• Strong communication and listening skills.
• Ability to accommodate a varied schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsabilités

• Greet customers in a positive and respectful manner.

• Address customer service issues promptly and refer to management when necessary.

BASIC FUNCTION:To provide excellent customer service to guests at the Millstone Café and to work as a team with the Executive Chef and other staff members

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Greeting customers in a positive and respectful mannerincluding patience
• Taking food and beverage orders and accurately entering them into the ordering system
• Making menu recommendations when requested
• Communicating any food allergy or special nutrition needs to kitchen staff
• Promptly addressing any customer service issues and referring to management when necessary
• Performing all server side-work as outlined by the executive chef and management staff. It includes cleaning duties, beverage prep, re-stocking, and general management of the cafe
• Familiar with using a POS system

JOB TYPE:Part-time (1–2 days a week)

SALARY:$14/ hour Bi-weekly

REQUIREMENTS:

• Restaurant: 2 years preferred
• Able to carry and lift objects up to 25 lbs.
• Able to stand for long periods of time
• Strong communication and listening skills
• Ability to accommodate a varied schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
