Job summary

The Café Attendant at Trilogy® at Vistancia® - Kiva Club in Peoria, AZ, reports to the Assistant Food & Beverage Manager and may train as a Barista to serve beverages and food with friendly, prompt service.

Ideal candidates bring a high school diploma (or equivalent), 1–3 months related experience, and a current Food Handlers card. The role requires a flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends, and offers full-time benefits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One to three months related experience preferred.
• Must meet state minimum age for serving alcohol, if applicable.
• Current Food Handlers card.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide; calculate discounts and percentages.
• Ability to read simple instructions and memos.
• Ability to prepare beverages using bar equipment and engage guests.

Responsibilities

• Greet and serve guests in an energetic and friendly fashion.
• Build relationships with guests by answering menu questions and beverage suggestions.
• Take food and beverage orders and relay to the kitchen.
• Prepare beverages following recipes; seek clarification if needed.
• Serve food and beverages indoors or on the patio.
• Handle cash and card transactions; give correct change.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment per sanitation standards.
• Keep equipment clean and operable; report maintenance needs.
• Notice and report safety issues or guest concerns to a supervisor.
• Be knowledgeable about resort facilities to encourage use of services.
• Other duties as assigned.
