Job summary

Willow Valley Communities is seeking Café Attendants for the Vitality Cafe in the Cultural Center. The role focuses on hospitality, coffee service, food prep, and customer care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include cafe setup, food prep, inventory support, deli slicing, POS operation, and catering assistance, with a welcoming, team-oriented culture and opportunities for growth. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• One to three months of related experience and/or training preferred.
• Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to food safety, sanitation, and hospitality excellence.

Responsibilities

• Make coffee and set up the cafe service line.
• Prepare food for cafe operations and catering functions.
• Determine production needs and assist with inventory and ordering.
• Slice deli meats and cheeses.
• Prepare meat salads using standard recipes.
• Take customer orders and assemble salads and sandwiches.
• Operate the POS system.
• Maintain cleanliness of the deli counter, dining area, kitchen, and pantry.
• Assist with catering set-up and delivery.
• Receive and store food items according to safety guidelines.
• Follow HACCP and food safety procedures.
• Provide exceptional customer service and create a welcoming atmosphere.
• Verify identification for alcohol purchases when applicable.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Vitality Cafe at Willow Valley Communities

We're seeking compassionate, service-oriented individuals to join our team as Café Attendants at Vitality Cafe, in the Cultural Center. In this role, you'll do more than prepare food and beverages. You'll help create a welcoming gathering place where Residents, families, guests, and Team Members can connect and enjoy exceptional hospitality.

• Part-Time
• Shift times
  • 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM
  • 3 days/week
  • + every other Saturday 9:00 AM - 2:30 PM

What You'll Do

As a Café Attendant, you will help ensure a positive dining experience while maintaining the highest standards of food quality, safety, and customer service.
