Job Overview

The Café Attendant plays a key role in operating the Trout Creek CDD Cafe. The attendant will take care of residents in all aspects of the café with a smile. This is a position for an individual who routinely exercises good judgment and exceptional problem‑solving skills. As the face of the cafe experience, maintaining positivity and diplomacy in a fast‑paced environment is critical while maintaining standards.

Your Responsibilities

Preparing and serving hot and cold drinks along with prepackaged sandwiches, wraps, pizza and snacks.
Cleaning and sanitizing work areas, utensils, and equipment
Cleaning service and seating areas
Describing menu items and suggesting products to customers
Servicing customers and taking orders
Receiving and distributing stock supplies
Receiving and processing customer payments
Stocking during shift as needed
Helps guests with all aspects of the café
Perform various other duties as assigned

Skills & Qualifications

GED or High School Diploma
Minimum of one (1) year in a similar role preferred.
Team player.
Ability to multi‑task
Ability to communicate effectively verbally.
Ability to exceed expectations of guests and team members.
Ability to operate available equipment such as cash registers, iPad, calculators, etc.
Basic mathematical skills.
Ability to work flexible hours and shifts, including Holidays.

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift 30 – 50 lbs.
Work in an upright standing or sitting position for long periods of time.
Reach with hands and arms.
Communicate, receive, and exchange ideas and information by means of the spoken and written word.

As a part‑time non‑exempt associate, you will be eligible for full supplemental benefits to include dental and vision. Occasional travel may be required to attend training and other company functions.
