Job summary

Dept Behavioral Health/Develop is seeking a CAFE ATTENDANT / FOOD SERVICE TECH I - PART-TIME at Eastern State Hospital in Williamsburg, VA. The role focuses on preparing meals for staff and patients with precise portion control and maintaining sanitation throughout plating and service areas.

The candidate should have prior food service experience and must obtain ServSafe Certification within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Prior food service experience is required.
• ServSafe Food Handler’s Certification or ability to obtain certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Prepare staff and patient meals with portion control.
• Maintain sanitation standards during plating and cafe operations.
• Carry out duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Work 29 hours per week on a rotating schedule from 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM, including weekdays, alternate weekends and some holidays.
