Job summary

The Delaney at The Vale is seeking a hospitality-focused Café Attendant to join our culinary team. This part-time position offers morning shifts on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday with a starting wage of $20/hour and a benefits package including health, dental, vision, Life Insurance, 401(k), PTO, and daily pay.

This role provides hands-on food and beverage service within our community café while creating an exceptional experience for residents and guests. The Café Attendant is responsible for maintaining outstanding customer service, food quality, and cleanliness standards at all times.

Schedule:

Part-time opportunity, Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday 6:30am-3:00pm

• Restock food, beverages, condiments, and service supplies to ensure a well-stocked and organized café environment.
• Assist with table maintenance, bussing dishes, and ensuring guest areas remain clean and welcoming.
• Support a culture of hospitality by creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for residents, guests, and team members.

Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous food service, café, coffee shop, or customer service experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic food handling knowledge and strong attention to detail.
• Experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems preferred.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift supplies as needed.
