Job summary

FatCats in Gilbert, AZ is seeking a friendly Cafe Attendant to ensure guests have a great time from start to finish. You will take orders at the cafe counter, run the cash register, and deliver food and drinks with a smile.

Description

As a Cafe Attendant, your job is to make sure our guests have a great time from start to finish. You'll run a cash register, sell food and drinks from our cafe counter, bring our Guests their food, and maintain a tidy area. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a busy environment, communicates well, and works great with a team. Your day starts with a check-in with a Shift Lead, then you grab a radio and cash drawer. You'll spend your shift helping guests primarily with food and beverage purchases, but also helping them buy movie tickets, sign up for our loyalty program, getting their popcorn, and searching for ways to proactively "wow" our guests. When things slow down, you help clean, restock, and cover other stations as needed. Before your shift ends, ensure everything is in order, and then check with the Shift Lead before clocking out. FatCats is busiest when others are having fun. Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays is expected. We will always try our best to accommodate your schedule. We utilize Cafe Attendants when we're busiest, primarily on Tuesdays, Saturdays and Sundays all day, and evenings on all other days. Shifts start at either 10am or 11am for morning shifts, and end at 3pm or 4pm. Evening shifts begin at 3pm or 4pm and conclude at 11pm or 12am.
