Job summary

Scheels All Sports, Inc. in Overland Park, KS is seeking a part-time Café Associate to prepare foods and beverages and assist customers. You will perform barista and candy shop functions, stock, and maintain a clean, safe work environment.

The schedule is flexible between 9 a.m. and 9:30 p.m., including weekends, with an average of about 20 hours per week. Compensation is $17.00 per hour plus an associate discount.

Qualifications

• High school education, or up to one month of related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare different types of food, drinks, and ingredients for sale to customers
• Perform Barista, Café, and Fuzziwigs Candy Shop functions as assigned by Café Manager and Supervisor
• Maintain working knowledge of Café recipes, beverages, and prepared foods
• Meet deadlines for fudge production and customer requests
• Follow all food safety guidelines by Scheels and local ordinances
• Ensure products are received and stored according to SOPs
• Follow Scheels cashier guidelines for Café registers
• Stock and clean daily, including equipment and machines
• Maintain clean, orderly personal workspace and dining areas
• Assist with opening/closing procedures
• Speak effectively before groups of customers and employees
• Read and understand operating and safety documents
