Job summary

Scheels in St. Cloud, MN is hiring for a Café Associate responsible for preparing foods, drinks, and fudge for sale to customers. You will perform all Barista and Café functions, maintain product knowledge, and meet fudge production deadlines.

You will follow safety guidelines, manage stocking and cleaning, and work varied hours, including evenings and weekends, in a team-oriented, owner-minded culture with ESOP and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare different types of food, drinks, and ingredients for sale.
• Perform all Barista and Café functions as assigned by the Café Manager and Supervisor.
• Maintain working knowledge of Café recipes, beverages, and prepared foods.
• Meet deadlines for fudge production and customer requests.
• Follow all food safety guidelines by Scheels, State, and Local Ordinances.
• Ensure all products are received and stored according to Standard Operating Guidelines.
• Ensure Scheels Cashier Guidelines are followed as it pertains to Café registers.
• Manage and support side work, stocking, daily and detailed cleaning schedules, including machines and equipment, and opening and closing procedures.
• Maintain an orderly and exceptionally clean appearance of personal workspace and surrounding areas.
• Must be able to perform repetitive fudge production processes, including stirring, pulling, and cutting.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers and employees of the organization.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating and maintenance instructions, safety rules, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to work assigned schedule, which may include varied hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
