About The Role

As a CAE Engineer you will contribute to the selection, development, and maintenance of CAD engineering and design tools used within the GOS organization. You will work with team members to troubleshoot software issues, develop solutions, and support the population and maintenance of plant data associated with various engineering applications. The position is hybrid, on site 2 days per week. Relocation assistance is not provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Support CAD Administration Lead in daily tasks.
• Plan, schedule and complete assignments independently within project schedule and budgetary requirements.
• Oversee the creation and development of 3D models and related engineering data for CSA, Electrical, Piping disciplines using multiple software applications.
• Oversee creation and revision control of drawings derived from 3D models.
• Oversee data management tools used to store and maintain CAD data.
• Perform associated software administration tasks, communication with software vendor and approval of license usage.
• Work with partners to develop and establish interface connections between CAD management tools and other enterprise software solutions for data collection and reporting.
• Improve work processes and lead improvements with standard procedures to ensure the best performance.
