Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company is seeking a CAE Engineer to advance CAD engineering and tooling. You’ll troubleshoot software issues, develop solutions, and support plant data across multiple engineering applications.

The role is hybrid, based in Cranberry, PA or Rock Hill, SC with no relocation. You will contribute to 3D model creation, data management, and interface maintenance between CAD tools and enterprise systems, while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in mechanical, Electrical, Civil/Structural Engineering is required.
Knowledge of CAD applications, Autodesk, AVEVA, and Hexagon-based products is required.
Ability to troubleshoot software issues and understand software development concepts.
Understanding of several CAD software applications and data management practices.

Responsibilities

Support CAD Administration Lead in daily tasks.
Plan, schedule and complete assignments within project schedule and budget.
Oversee creation and development of 3D models and related engineering data across CSA, Electrical, or Piping domains.
Oversee creation and revision control of drawings derived from 3D models.
Oversee data management tools used to store and maintain CAD data.
Perform software administration tasks and liaise with software vendors on licenses.
Coordinate interfaces between CAD tools and other enterprise software for data collection and reporting.
