Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company seeks a CAE Engineer/E3D Admin to work with AVEVA software, blending plant layout engineering and AVEVA administration. This hybrid role is based in Cranberry, PA or Rock Hill, SC, reporting to the Manager - Computer Aided Engineering.

You will administer E3D, install and configure software, support accounts and data exchange on large projects, ensure security, and develop training for staff while advancing system improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master degree in information technology or related field.
• 3+ years of administrative experience in AVEVA Design and Draft/ Draw and Catalog experience in plant layout engineering.
• AVEVA certificates of ADMIN work (E3D); programming and development skills.
• Fluent English; German or Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Administer E3D software (AVEVA).
• Install and configure E3D software and hardware management.
• Support in setting up accounts and workstations.
• Organize and support data exchange during big projects.
• Monitor performance and maintenance of systems per requirements.
• Resolve system problems and failures.
• Ensure security through access controls, backups and firewalls.
• Update systems with new releases.
• Develop experience to train employees on new technologies.
• Organize data backup and storage systems.
• PML programming and development.
• E3D customization and improvement.

About the role

As a CAE Engineer/E3D Admin you will work with AVEVA software. Your role will be a combination between a plant layout engineer and an AVEVA software Administrator.

You will report to the Manager - Computer Aided Engineering and work a hybrid role based in Cranberry, PA or Rock Hill, SC.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer of E3D Software (AVEVA)
• Installation and configuration of E3D software and hardware Management
• Support in setting up accounts and workstations
• Organize and support the data exchange during big projects

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $69,200 to $86,500 per year.
