Oneida Professional Services (OPS) seeks a CADP Academic Advisor at Maxwell AFB-Gunter Annex in Montgomery, AL. This full-time role provides academic advising and student success support for participants in the Civilian Associate Degree Program (CADP).

Responsibilities include guiding degree plans, reviewing transcripts, tracking progress, and delivering CADP SOAR sessions online or in person. Strong communication and experience in academic records management are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field with two years of advising or counseling experience in an academic environment.
• Master's degree in Education, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong communication and student engagement skills.

• Assist students in developing and maintaining degree completion plans.
• Review unofficial transcripts and prepare transfer credit packages.
• Monitor student progress toward graduation milestones.

• Update AFVEC, AU systems, and degree-tracking databases.
• Prepare weekly, monthly, and ad hoc student success reports.
• Advise students on tuition assistance and credit-by-examination opportunities.
• Facilitate CADP SOAR courses and provide instructional support in online environments.

Oneida Professional Services (OPS) is actively seeking a highly motivated, full-time CADP Academic Advisor at Maxwell AFB-Gunter Annex, Montgomery, AL. This position provides academic advising and student success support for participants enrolled in the Civilian Associate Degree Program (CADP)

Key Responsibilities:

• Advise students on degree plans, transfer credits, examinations, and academic pathways.
• Assist students in developing and maintaining degree completion plans.
• Review unofficial transcripts and prepare transfer credit packages.
• Monitor student progress toward graduation milestones.
• Conduct outreach to students at least once per academic term.
• Maintain advising documentation and academic records.
• Update AFVEC, AU systems, and degree-tracking databases.
• Prepare weekly, monthly, and ad hoc student success reports.
• Advise students on tuition assistance and credit-by-examination opportunities.
• Facilitate and instruct CADP Student Orientation, Advising & Readiness (SOAR) courses.
• Provide grading, feedback, and instructional support in online environments

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field with two (2) years of advising or counseling experience in an academic environment;

OR

• Master's degree in Education, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.
  
• Strong communication and student engagement skills.
  
• Experience maintaining academic records and advising documentation.
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience advising adult learners.
• Familiarity with Air University, AFVEC, AFAEMS, CLEP, and DSST programs.
• Online teaching or facilitation experience.
• Knowledge of military education programs and tuition assistance processes.
