Job summary

Hytek Finishes Co. in Kent, WA is seeking an Aerospace Cadmium Assistant for the 3rd shift. This non-exempt, full-time role supports the Cadmium Plating department and requires learning tasks to prepare parts for processing. Some duties may include FAA DOT drug testing considerations and adherence to Military/OEM specs.

Qualifications

• Must read and write in English to communicate with colleagues, customers, and auditors.

Responsibilities

• Follow instructions from experienced Operators and Department Leads; sign off after completion and verification.
• Prepare parts prior to operations including cleaning, layout, and racking with proper tooling.
• Review paperwork and inspector checks and notify supervisor/QA of any errors.
• Support continuous improvement and identify areas for process enhancements.
• Other duties as assigned.
