Job summary

HDR in Bellevue, WA is seeking a CADD Technician to perform drafting tasks under supervision, preparing drawings and layouts to support engineering designs across transportation projects.

The role requires an Associate degree or equivalent, proficiency with AutoCAD/MicroStation, and familiarity with OpenRoads/OpenRoads Designer and Civil3D, plus MS Office. HDR emphasizes employee ownership, collaboration, and delivering safe, resilient infrastructure.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of standard CAD Software (AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc)
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite

Responsibilities

  • Perform discipline specific drafting assignments requiring application of standardized drawing techniques, under the direct supervision of an Architect/Engineer, or other technical professional
  • Prepare drawings, layouts, sketches, maps and graphic representations of engineering designs using computer-aided design software
  • Perform other duties as needed

In the role of CADD Technician, we'll count on you to:
  • Perform discipline specific drafting assignments requiring application of standardized drawing techniques, under the direct supervision of an Architect/Engineer, or other technical professional
  • Prepare drawings, layouts, sketches, maps and graphic representations of engineering designs using computer-aided design software
  • Perform other duties as needed
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity and demonstrated experience with Highways and Roads engineering software such as Bentley Open Roads Designer and/or Autodesk Civil3d is a plus.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments.
