Job summary

HDR is looking for a CADD Technician in Salem, Oregon, to support the development of innovative transportation solutions. Your role will involve drafting and designing using CAD software under the supervision of an Architect or Engineer. The ideal candidate should have an Associate degree or equivalent experience and proficiency in CAD tools like AutoCAD or MicroStation.

Qualifications

In the role of CADD Technician, we’ll count on you to:
  • Perform discipline specific drafting assignments requiring application of standardized drawing techniques, under the direct supervision of an Architect/Engineer, or other technical professional
  • Prepare drawings, layouts, sketches, maps and graphic representations of engineering designs using computer-aided design software
  • Perform other duties as needed
Required Qualifications
  • Associate or technical school degree, or combination of education and relevant experience
  • Knowledge of standard CAD Software (AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc)
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong attention to detail and organization skills
  • Basic understanding of engineering or architectural concepts, workflows and deliverables
