Job summary

HDR is seeking a CADD Technician in San Antonio, Texas. You will perform discipline-specific drafting under supervision, using CAD software to create drawings, layouts, maps, and graphics for engineering designs.

Qualifications

  • Associate or technical school degree or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD, MicroStation, and other CAD software.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Basic understanding of engineering or architectural concepts, workflows and deliverables.
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must.

Responsibilities

  • Perform discipline specific drafting assignments requiring application of standardized drawing techniques, under the direct supervision of an Architect/Engineer, or other technical professional.
  • Prepare drawings, layouts, sketches, maps and graphic representations of engineering designs using computer-aided design software.
  • Perform other duties as needed

In the role of CADD Technician, we'll count on you to:

Perform discipline specific drafting assignments requiring application of standardized drawing techniques, under the direct supervision of an Architect/Engineer, or other technical professional

Required Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
