Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking an Intelligent Modeling Coordinator to join our transit and multimodal project teams in the United States. This role can be based in any CDM Smith office in the US. You will coordinate intelligent models across disciplines, run clash detection, and lead resolution to deliver federated, clash‑checked models.

You will establish BIM/CADD standards, mentor staff, and support model health and interoperability across the Autodesk stack. Travel to project sites may be required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with vocational training in CADD drafting
• 12 years of related experience

Responsibilities

• Cross-discipline coordination across architecture, vertical structures, transportation structures, roadway design, and MEP.
• Model coordination and clash detection using Navisworks and leading issue resolution.
• Establishes and enforces BIM/CADD standards and workflows across offices.
• Mentors and trains production staff across offices to build institutional capability.
• Acts as Intelligent Modeling Coordinator to ensure design team coordination throughout the project lifecycle.
• Performs CADD/technical support tasks and verifies model integrity.
