Job summary

Behavioral Health Group (BHG) is seeking a Counselor in Las Vegas to help patients identify strengths and work toward social, educational, and occupational goals while supporting recovery and a drug-free life.

The position requires CADC-I or CADC licensure and a Master's or Bachelor's degree in human services; schedule is 5am–1:30pm, Monday to Friday, with a pay range of $25.00–$28.00 per hour plus a bonus structure.

Qualifications

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in human services or related field required.
• CADC-I or CADC licensure required.
• Experience in behavioral health preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular alcohol and drug abuse counseling sessions and group sessions as required.
• Orient patients to treatment program operations and procedures.
• Collect and assess social, educational, economic, and vocational information.
• Develop and revise patient treatment plans, maintaining comprehensive records.
• Make appropriate referrals and perform necessary follow-ups.
• Coordinate care with community providers as needed.
• Adhere to accrediting agency standards and regulatory requirements.
• Demonstrate commitment to valuing diversity and providing crisis intervention when needed.
