Job summary

Renewal Falls Recovery Center in Cedar Falls, Iowa, seeks a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADAC) to join our clinical team. You will provide direct counseling services, support individualized treatment planning, and facilitate evidence-based groups to help residents move forward in recovery.

We value person-centered care, interdisciplinary teamwork, and strong documentation. Qualifications include current CADC/IADC credential and a degree in behavioral health or related field; Masters

Qualifications

• Current CADC or IADC credential recognized in Iowa.
• Bachelor’s degree in behavioral health, social services, psychology, counseling, human services, addiction studies, or a related field preferred.
• Relevant substance use disorder counseling experience preferred.
• Strong documentation, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and professional boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Provide substance use disorder counseling and treatment per individualized plan.
• Conduct individual and group counseling sessions.
• Develop, implement, review, and update individualized treatment plans with the team.
• Coordinate with case management, peer support, nursing, and medical staff.
• Maintain timely, accurate documentation in the EMR.
• Assist with discharge and continuing-care planning.
• Maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality.
