Prosperous Health is seeking a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) in California to provide direct counseling and support for individuals with substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. The role supports treatment planning, group sessions, and recovery goals.

The ideal candidate will have CADC certifications (I–IV) and experience in addiction treatment, with strong clinical and interpersonal skills in a structured behavioral health setting.

Formación

• Experience in substance use disorder treatment or behavioral health settings.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of addiction recovery principles and evidence-based practices.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Responsabilidades

• Facilitate psychoeducational and process groups focused on recovery and relapse prevention.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Support clients in developing coping skills and recovery tools.
• Conduct screenings, assessments, and ongoing client evaluations.
• Provide relapse prevention education and recovery planning.
• Maintain clinical documentation accurately and timely.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and confidentiality.
• Collaborate with therapists, case managers, and medical staff.
• Coordinate care and discharge planning when needed.
• Engage clients and build a supportive therapeutic relationship.
