Job summary

Seasons Center in Sioux Center, IA is seeking an experienced Alcohol and Drug Counselor to join our Assertive Community Treatment team. In this role, you will work collaboratively to provide outpatient care for adults with severe mental illness.

The ideal candidate holds an Iowa alcohol and drug counselor certification and has three years of relevant experience. This position involves travel and excellent communication skills are essential. Benefits include a generous PTO package among others.

Qualifications

• Must hold an independent Iowa alcohol and drug counselor certification (CADC, IADC, or IAADC).
• At least three years of experience providing treatment to individuals with substance abuse disorders.
• This position requires travel, so a valid driver’s license is required.
• Bilingual candidates are preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans.
• Implement individualized treatment and coordinate services.
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
