Job summary

RHA Health Services, LLC is seeking a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) to provide individual and group counseling for clients with intellectual and developmental disabilities, mental health, and substance use challenges. The role includes developing treatment plans, monitoring progress, and coordinating with a care team.

Qualifications

• Must be a Qualified Professional as defined by state agencies and service definitions.
• Must also be a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC).

Responsibilities

• Provide individual counseling sessions focused on recovery goals, progress measurement, and needs assessment for long-term recovery.
• Facilitate group counseling to address skill-building, emotional support, coping strategies, and relapse prevention.
• Develop and revise personalized, person-centered treatment plans with input from client, family, and support networks.
• Conduct utilization reviews to assess need for continued services, eligibility, and discharge planning.
• Deliver evidence-based preventive and therapeutic interventions and case coordination.
• Consult with psychiatrists and medical personnel for monitoring medications and care coordination.
• Document all interventions and progress in client records within required timeframes.
• Perform additional duties as assigned and possible supervisory responsibilities.
