We are seeking a skilled CAD Technician Draftsperson to join our Process Design Group. This role involves developing complex technical drawings, creating detailed design models, and supporting a variety of Wastewater projects. The ideal candidate will have experience with AutoCAD and/or Revit software, a strong understanding of drafting standards, and a proactive approach to expanding their technical knowledge.
Offices: This position can be located in any of these offices: Topsham, ME | Portland, ME | Middletown, CT.
Responsibilities
- Develop complex technical drawings with independent judgment under general supervision.
- Assist in preparing contract drawings for a range of wastewater projects of varying sizes and complexities.
- Create design models, plans, sections, schematics, and details.
- Ensure drafting accuracy, drawing legibility, and compliance with general drafting standards.
- Generate clear and precise plans and sections in both 2D and 3D formats.
- Strong understanding of construction drawing standards and document organization.
Experience
- 3-6 years CAD/Drafting experience in an engineering environment required.
- Experience using Revit & AutoCAD Civil 3D required.
- Civil site plan development experience considered a plus.
Education
- Associates degree in Engineering Technology or equivalent work experience with a focus on CAD/Revit software.
Essential Functions
