Pape-Dawson’s Nashville team is seeking an intermediate-level CAD Technician II to support land development projects across disciplines. You will prepare, revise, and coordinate construction documents, exhibits, and graphics in line with company standards and agency requirements.

You’ll demonstrate increasing independence and attention to detail as you review your work for accuracy. The role involves collaboration with engineers, designers, and PMs to meet project objectives, with a typical 8–5

Qualifications

• Associate degree or CAD certificate or related field required.
• 3+ years drafting civil/transportation/utility construction documents.
• Proficiency in CAD tools: AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, OpenRoads, OpenBridge.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to work both independently and in a team.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and revise construction plans, profiles, and exhibits using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Analyze sketches and notes to determine drafting approaches with minimal supervision.
• Coordinate with engineers, designers, and PMs to meet objectives and deadlines.
• Develop documents from marks, sketches, and redlines with increasing independence.
• Apply CAD standards for consistent layers, styles, symbols, and layouts.
• Incorporate QA/QC and agency checklists for accuracy and compliance.
• Review own work for accuracy and completeness before submission.
• Assist engineers with technical documentation and deliverables.
• Coordinate and communicate with project team to support schedules.
• Maintain organized project files for team collaboration.
