Job summary

Pape-Dawson’s Nashville team is seeking an intermediate CAD Technician II to support land development projects. You will draft, revise, and coordinate construction documents in AutoCAD Civil 3D, with guidance from engineers and project managers.

This role emphasizes attention to detail, consistency with CAD standards, and proactive QA/QC of drawings. Office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or certificate in CAD/Design or related field required.
• 3+ years of experience preparing civil/transportation/structural/utility/aviation construction documents using CAD software.
• Proficiency in CAD software with adherence to company standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and revise construction plans, profiles, and exhibits for various land development projects using CAD software.

This role works with limited supervision to prepare, revise, and coordinate construction documents, exhibits, and technical graphics in compliance with company standards and applicable agency requirements.
