Job summary

HDR is seeking a CADD Technician in Bellevue, WA to contribute to highway and road projects. You’ll perform drafting assignments under supervision, prepare drawings and maps using AutoCAD or MicroStation, and support engineering teams across disciplines.

Qualifications

• Associate or technical school degree, or combination of education and relevant experience
• Knowledge of standard CAD Software (AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc)
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong attention to detail and organization skills
• Basic understanding of engineering or architectural concepts, workflows and deliverables
• An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must

Responsibilities

• Perform discipline specific drafting assignments requiring application of standardized drawing techniques, under the direct supervision of an Architect/Engineer, or other technical professional
• Prepare drawings, layouts, sketches, maps and graphic representations of engineering designs using computer-aided design software
• Perform other duties as needed
