Job summary

HDR is seeking a CADD Technician to contribute to the Transportation group by producing disciplined drafting and CAD drawings for infrastructure projects. You will prepare layouts, maps and graphic representations under supervision and support engineers and architects in delivering plans.

The role emphasizes accuracy, collaboration across disciplines, and adherence to project deliverables in a dynamic, employee-owned culture.

Qualifications

• Associate or technical school degree or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency with CAD software such as AutoCAD and MicroStation.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Solid understanding of engineering or architectural concepts, workflows and deliverables.
• Commitment to HDR's employee-owned culture.

Responsibilities

• Perform discipline‑specific drafting assignments using standardized techniques under supervision.
• Prepare drawings, layouts, sketches, maps and graphic representations of engineering designs using CAD software.
• Perform other duties as needed.
