Sinacola, a 100% employee-owned firm, seeks a CAD Technician to support field data analysis, 3D surface modeling, and plan verification. You will generate survey data for field crews and machine control, maintain project files, and produce 3D roadway models and cut/fill reports using advanced CAD tools.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in a survey technician role, an associate degree, and strong attention to detail. Knowledge of Bentley/Trimble software is a plus.

Competenze

• Associates or technical school degree preferred.
• Minimum 3+ years’ experience in a survey technician role.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans for field layout data.
• Experience creating 3D roadway models and calculating civil site elements such as bridges, drainage, and walls.
• Familiarity with Bentley MicroStation/Geopak and Trimble instruments is a plus.

Mansioni

• Generate accurate survey data for field crews and machine control systems.
• Track RFIs, Change Orders, and Addendums while maintaining field files.
• Document CAD and plan errors for RFIs.
• Create 3D surface models and calculate bridges, drainage, utilities, etc.
• Create cut/fill reports and plotting exhibits for survey managers.
• Track time spent on projects for budgeting purposes.
• Create roadway corridors and prepare drawings with high precision.
• Maintain project alignments, profiles, tie-ins, etc.
• Utilize COGO and survey methods to produce usable survey points and maps.
