Job summary

Impact Recruitment is assisting a Central Ohio surveying firm seeking a CAD Technician. You will create technical drawings and plans using Civil 3D and Carlson Survey for topographic surveys, boundaries, subdivisions, and construction staking.

The role requires strong communication, supervisory abilities, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Related field experience and a valid driver’s license are needed to support field crews.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Experience with Civil 3D and Carlson Survey software.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and sit for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Prepare CAD drawings using Civil 3D and Carlson Survey.
• Create 3D surface models and contours.
• Prepare construction staking data for field crews.
• Collaborate with planners, project managers and engineers on projects.
• Review designs and present drafts to clients and team members.
