The CAD Technician will be responsible for creating detailed drawings of material handling equipment, work areas, and components based on current examples and supporting future design initiatives. These drawings require a high level of detail in both plan views and elevation views, where applicable. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, capable of working independently to produce drawing sets that standardize workspaces and designs across a wide network of fulfillment operations.
- Develop detailed drawings for material handling equipment and work areas.
- Support design initiatives for future projects.
- Standardize workspace designs across fulfillment operations.
- Collaborate with the Robotics Solution Design Team to work on robotic system designs for automation fulfillment centers.
- Coordinate with other engineering teams to integrate CAD layouts and systems designs for fulfillment centers.
- Minimum 3 years of experience operating CAD software with proficiency in managing layers.
- Associate’s Degree in Drafting and Design.
- At least 1 year of experience drawing in a warehouse or fulfillment center environment.
- Basic understanding of material handling and storage systems.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $37.64 - $37.64/hr.
