Job summary

Radiant is seeking a CAD Systems Engineer to own the NX and Teamcenter environment used by our mechanical engineers, reporting to the PLM Architect. This role focuses on standards, templates, and automation as we scale toward the first mass-produced portable nuclear reactor.

You will grow into deeper ownership of PLM processes, data integrity, and system customization while collaborating with hardware teams to support design and build efforts in El Segundo, CA.

Qualifications

• Degree in mechanical engineering or STEM field.
• Experience in engineering support or related technical role.
• Familiarity with PLM/CAD environments desired.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain NX CAD environment templates and configurations.
• Document and enforce CAD modeling and PLM data standards.
• Collaborate on item and BOM structure, workflows, and data cleanup.
• Automate repetitive engineering data tasks and reporting.
• Manage Teamcenter administration: accounts, groups, roles, and permissions.
• Coordinate NX/Teamcenter deployments, upgrades, and testing before go-live.
• Troubleshoot licensing with systems engineer and vendor support.
• Create docs and run trainings to reduce repetitive questions.
• Grow platform ownership under the PLM Architect.
