Job summary

Productive Resources LLC seeks a Systems Designer to support engineers by creating 3D/2D layouts using CAD, updating drawings with GD&T per markups, and coordinating with suppliers for technical data. The role also involves BOM creation, CN documentation, and ERP data entry to maintain part numbers and assemblies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with two years of experience in design.
• Experience routing hydraulic and pneumatic lines.
• CAD experience with CATIA and/or Creo; assess proficiency and routing capability in each.
• GD&T training (preferred).
• Read and interpret engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Create 3D and 2D layouts of parts and medium assemblies using CAD with guidance from senior designers.
• Update drawings per markups using GD&T and review with engineers to ensure accuracy.
• Collaborate with suppliers to obtain technical data.
• Self-check work for accuracy, dimensioning, tolerances, and CAD standards.
• Prepare Change Notices based on BOM and layouts for data entry.
• Create part numbers in ERP and manage BOM per procedures.
• Provide technical assistance for build, prototype, pilot, and production support.
