Gedeon GRC Consulting is seeking a CAD/REVIT Technician - Structural to join our team. The candidate should have a strong background in drafting and design, proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CADD) software, especially Revit and AutoCAD, and some experience with MicroStation and AutoCAD Civil 3D. The role involves assisting the structural department with preparing design documents, technical drawings, details, notes, and schedules.

Salary Range:

$65,000 - $102,000 annually, commensurate with experience

Location:

Options include Remote, Hybrid (local to NYC Metro Area), or in-office at Syosset NY, Princeton NJ, or Newark NJ

Travel:

Less than 10% travel required

Responsibilities:

1. Create accurate 3D BIM models using REVIT
2. Develop detailed 3D Structural Revit models
3. Generate plans, sections, elevations, and details from BIM models
4. Annotate, dimension, and produce drawings adhering to standards
5. Manage large sheet sets, revisions, and plot drawings
6. Setup and geo-locate models for projects
7. Understand 3D laser scanning and point cloud modeling
8. Develop Revit families (non-parametric and parametric)
9. Coordinate with other disciplines and collaborate effectively
10. Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree with at least 3 years' relevant experience in structural CADD/Design
• Expertise in Revit Structure is essential
• Autodesk Certification and training in drafting/building modeling
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of MicroStation, Civil 3D, Recap, Bim360, Navisworks is a plus
• Understanding of 3D laser scanning & point clouds
• Ability to interpret construction plans and visualize projects
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, capable of handling multiple requests
