Job summary

SPX Technologies invites applications for a 2027 summer Engineering/Design Intern role within our HVAC Cooling engineering team in the Kansas City area. You will assist in product development, testing, and design initiatives, gaining hands-on experience with CAD tools and real-world engineering challenges.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or Design/Drafting Technology.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in product development projects, including design analysis and prototype support.
• Contribute to product improvement initiatives and design layouts.
• Create and modify engineering drawings using CAD software (AutoCAD/SolidWorks).
• Support testing, document results, and suggest design adjustments.
