Job summary

Jacquet Mid Atlantic Inc in Pennsylvania is seeking a CAD Programmer to support sales through precise programming, nesting, inventory control and scheduling of cutting machines (Plasma, Water Jet, Laser and Saw). You will communicate with sales, customers, operators and management to address schedules and changes.

The role requires proficiency in 2D AutoCAD and Lantek software, a solid sheet metal layout understanding, accurate records, and the ability to read blueprints.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year of AutoCAD 2D experience.
• Familiarity with Lantek software.
• Ability to learn.

Responsibilities

• Be proficient in 2D AutoCAD Lantek software and understand sheet metal layout.
• Create flat patterns for water jet and plasma cutting while accounting for tolerances.
• Maintain inventory records and ensure accuracy, including rems usage.
• Provide check drawings to operators for quality control after parts are cut.
• Communicate daily schedules, issues and opportunities with team.
• Assist with month-end inventory reports and read basic blueprints/drawings.
