Job summary

BCI Burke Co in Wisconsin is seeking a CAD Playground Design Intern to join our design team. You will create playground designs that inspire movement using our proprietary design software, producing layout drawings, site plans and footing details that meet safety guidelines.

You'll collaborate with our design department and clients to help bring play and mobility to communities, gaining hands-on experience in mechanical design and engineering concepts while contributing to real-world projects.

Qualifications

• Completed or in progress with a 2D AutoCAD class.
• AutoCAD experience.
• Background in Mechanical Design/Engineering (ME/CE) or related fields.
• Comfort with elevation changes and coordinates.
• Strong organization, multitasking ability, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Create playground designs, layout drawings, site plans and footing drawings using our software, meeting current safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with the Design Department and with customers to deliver design leadership and solutions.
