Roush is seeking a CAD Pattern Technician for a full-time day shift in Livonia, MI. You will build 2D patterns from CAD models or physical items, optimized for automated cutting machines, and ensure material utilization aligns with build schedules.

Responsibilities include maintaining documentation, verifying pattern fit, and collaborating with team members to meet program requirements. This role requires CAD experience, blueprint reading, and a focus on accurate, efficient production.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Understanding and use of basic coding of automated cutting software.
• Experience with CAD software.
• Familiarity with Rhinoceros 3D and/or SolidWorks.
• Ability to read and interpret detailed blueprints and drawings.
• Ability to work with others and follow instructions.
• Interest in material utilization and documentation accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Create patterns using CAD software and verify product fit prior to production.
• Collaborate with team to meet build schedules and program requirements.
• Maintain accurate documentation and paperwork alignment with build schedules.
• Inspect equipment and ensure safe operating conditions.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Communicate material usage requirements across departments.
• Support shop operations as needed by the department.
