Job summary

Carbon by Design LLC is seeking a Cutting Technician to mark, reproduce, and assemble material kits. The role requires proficiency in Patternsmith and Gerber Machine operation, along with strong attention to detail and the ability to read technical drawings.

You will laminate materials, sharpen tools, operate cutting/grinding equipment, and ensure adherence to specifications while minimizing waste. Weekend overtime may be required, and MS Office proficiency is expected.

Qualifications

• U.S. Person status required due to export control.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• 1-2 years of related experience.
• Proficiency with Patternsmith preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail while producing accurate high-quality work.
• Team player that can thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Must thrive in a team-oriented and deadline-driven environment.
• Capable of standing for extended periods of time.
• Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and the management team.
• Familiarity with interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
• Available to work periodic mandatory weekends and overtime.
• Proficiency in MS Office programs - Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point and Adobe Acrobat

Responsibilities

• Marking, reproducing, and assembling material kits.
• Become proficient in Patternsmith and the Gerber Machine.
• Operate cutting and grinding equipment as required.
• Laminate and bag/ consolidate cloth materials.
• Ensure pieces meet specifications and minimize waste.
• Meet changing priorities and customer demand.
• Maintain quality and accuracy in production.
• Participate in internal training as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
