Job summary

VSP Technologies is seeking a CAD Operator to operate CAD systems and produce clear, technically accurate drawings based on design specifications. The role requires using CAD software, following drawing standards, and self-checking work for accuracy.

You will manage controlled drawings and collaborate with multiple departments to ensure information is conveyed correctly. We require a High school diploma or equivalent, AutoCAD certification, and demonstrated experience with AutoCAD or similar

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• AutoCAD certification or equivalent CAD certification.
• Demonstrated experience using AutoCAD or similar CAD software.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Operate CAD systems to create, modify, and release drawings.
• Work from drawings, sketches, or scanned images and customer specifications.
• Apply approved drawing standards and perform self-checks for accuracy and completeness.
• Manage controlled drawings within VSP folders and coordinate with other departments.
• Provide technical support including troubleshooting and upgrades for production equipment.
• Collaborate with sales and other departments to meet customer service expectations.
• Adhere to Health, Safety, and Environmental policies and promote a safe workplace.
