Apex Companies, LLC. is seeking a CAD/GIS Technician 2 to support municipal infrastructure projects, drafting and modeling precise 2D/3D drawings using Revit and AutoCAD Plant 3D. You will work with engineers and PMs to ensure accurate design documents and regulatory compliance.

The role requires 3+ years in municipal projects and an AS in Drafting or Eng Tech is preferred. Enjoy a sign-on bonus and opportunities within a 2,000+ employee national firm with 70+ locations.

Qualifications

Associate degree or higher in drafting/engineering tech preferred.
Minimum 3 years in municipal infrastructure projects (water/wastewater, utilities).
Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD Plant 3D or similar 3D drafting tools.

Responsibilities

Draft, model, and maintain 2D/3D drawings using Revit or AutoCAD Plant 3D.
Collaborate with engineers and PMs to translate project requirements into drawings.
Ensure drawings comply with standards, specs, and regulatory requirements.
Manage project files, revisions, and documentation packages for approvals.
Assist with data collection, field measurements, and design changes.
Stay current with drafting technologies and best practices.
