Job summary

Apex Companies, LLC is seeking a Sr CAD/GIS Technician to support the design and development of municipal infrastructure projects. You will draft detailed 2D and 3D drawings and models of water/wastewater systems, site utilities, and structural layouts in Revit and AutoCAD Plant 3D.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience with municipal infrastructure projects (e.g., water/wastewater, site utilities, structural layouts).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality drawings.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Drafting & Modeling: Create, update, and maintain detailed 2D and 3D drawings using Revit, AutoCAD Plant 3D, or similar software.
• Project Collaboration: Work with engineers and project managers to interpret requirements into design documents.
• Quality Control: Ensure drawings and models comply with standards, municipal specs, and regulatory requirements.
• Documentation & File Management: Maintain project files and prepare documentation packages for approvals.
• Technical Support: Assist with data collection, field measurements, and design modifications.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay current with drafting technologies and best practices.
